Multi-Faceted Business Leader

Marc Pineda is the Founder, CEO, and President of Phalanx PMO Group LLC. He has more than 30 years of experience in a wide range of fields including business and various other technical fields.

He brings more than 20 years of general project management expertise to our company. Apart from this, he also has more than 10 years of PMO knowledge and skill.

Education and Training

Marc holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Strayer University. His concentration was in management, with an emphasis on project management.

Marc also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Old Dominion University and an Associate of Science (AS) degree from Tidewater Community College. Both degrees were in the same business administration field.

Today, Marc has an unfinished Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree. This doctorate is still underway.

Certifications

PM & PMO

Marc holds an active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification given to him by the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is currently working on receiving his Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification from the same governing body.

He also holds the following credentials from the PMO Global Institute (PMOGI):

Certified Baseline PMO Consultant (CB-PMO)
Authorized Instructor (PMOGI-ABPI)
Authorized Business Partner (PMOGI-ABP)

Agile and Scrum

Marc holds an active Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance Inc. He is also currently working toward his Product Owner (CSPO) and Scrum Developer (CSD) certifications.

Miscellaneous

Marc has various certifications from the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). These include accreditations such as Security+ and A+.

He is also currently pursuing other industry-related certifications such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP). He also holds several government security clearances.

Our company’s establishment is based on our founder’s philosophy of how people progress in their careers. It goes as follows:
